Top Reasons to Buy a Duro-Last Roof

NO DISRUPTION TO YOUR BUSINESS
Installing the Duro-Last Roofing System does not jeopardize your business flow - you can remain open because no large and loud machinery is required to install the roof. Other distractions (ex. noise or parking lot tie-ups, etc.) are non-existent. Thus, your customers will NOT be disturbed by a Duro-Last Roofing System installation. Matter of fact...they probably won't even know a new roof is being installed.

INSTALLED YEAR-ROUND WITH NO MESSY CLEAN-UP
The roof is pre-measured and pre-cut with all the accessories included so that the job can be completed quickly and cleanly no matter what time of the year, without the use of any hazardous materials. Because there are no messy materials to work with, your customers and employees will NOT experience any dangerous vapors or potential fire hazards during a Duro-Last Roofing System installation.

FIRE RETARDANT
The Duro-Last Roofing System's polymer thermoplastic coating will not burn. In Underwriters Laboratories (UL) tests, the Duro-Last Roofing System is regularly rated effective against light to severe fire exposure. This gives you peace of mind knowing that your Duro-Last Roof will stay strong even under harsh and unexpected conditions.

ENERGY EFFICIENT
Due to its reflective qualities, you can save money on energy costs by installing a Duro-Last Roofing System. Duro-Last's white membrane reflects approximately 83% of the sun's energy.* Such savings add up quickly so that you can have extra money to use towards other building improvements.

WIND RESISTANT
A mechanically attached roofing system, Duro-Last's membrane has been successfully tested by Factory Mutual Research Corporation to withstand 150 lbs. of uplift resistance, which translates to approximately 140 m.p.h. winds.* In real life, the Duro-Last Roofing System has even endured such devastating storms as Hurricane Hugo and Hurricane Andrew. In 1989, when Hurricane Hugo's force destroyed many buildings in the Charleston, South Carolina area, approximately 130 Duro-Last roofs in that area remained undamaged.* You will feel secure knowing that your Duro-Last Roof will protect you from even the most inclement weather conditions.

15-YEAR LIMITED OR 20-YEAR PRORATED WARRANTIES
On top of its commitment to quality, Duro-Last provides protection with an outstanding 15-year limited (material and labor) warranty or a 20-year prorated warranty that protects non-residential buildings and their contents if damaged because of a failure of the Duro-Last Roofing System. This is only possible because of the intensive quality-control measures, which are exercised during the manufacture and installation of the Duro-Last Roofing System. With these warranties, you can be assured that Duro-Last will stand behind its products.

LEAK-PROOF
The Duro-Last membrane is classified as a CPA and is a proprietary thermoplastic formulation consisting of resins and plasticizers, stabilizers, biocides, flame retardant and U.V. absorbents. This membrane is then laminated to a weft insertion knitted scrim that is produced by overstitching a non-woven web. Because of this composition and professional installation, the Duro-Last Roofing System provides you with a leak-proof roof.

MAINTENANCE-FREE
Once installed, the Duro-Last Roofing System is continually watertight and virtually maintenance-free. The Duro-Last Roofing System is non-curing to provide excellent welding ability for the entire life of the system. Thus, in the unlikely event that an alteration is needed, a patch, curb, stack or any other necessary alterations can easily be accomplished by heat welding the new Duro-Last membrane or accessory to the existing membrane.

INSTALLED BY PROFESSIONALS
The Duro-Last Roofing System is installed only by authorized Duro-Last dealer/contractors who have received extensive training in this system. These professionals are known for getting the job done right with an emphasis on quality workmanship.

INSPECTED BY DURO-LAST QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALISTS
Duro-Last operates under a strict code of principals and standards. Every Duro-Last Roofing System must receive a final inspection by a Duro-Last quality assurance specialist, who will thoroughly check the entire roof for problem areas and quality craftsmanship.
